Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
01 Information We Collect
The personal information we collect from you may include:
- Your name — full name as provided on driver applications, quote requests, or contact forms.
- Your email address — used to send confirmations, follow-ups, and quotes.
- Your phone number — used by our dispatch and recruiting teams to reach you by voice call. We do not send SMS / text messages.
We may also collect optional information you choose to provide on the driver application (city, CDL class, license state, years of experience, endorsements, equipment preferences, position, and start date) and basic technical information about your visit (such as IP address and browser user agent) to help us prevent abuse and improve the site.
02 How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Provide and maintain our freight services and driver hiring programs.
- Communicate with you, including sending updates, dispatch information, hiring next steps, and other information related to our services.
- Respond to customer service requests and resolve issues quickly.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and DOT/FMCSA recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
03 How We Protect Your Data
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement a variety of measures to protect it:
- Encryption. We use industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption to secure sensitive data during transmission between your device and our servers.
- Data Minimization. We only collect the information necessary to provide our services, and we do not retain personal information longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected for.
- Access Controls. Access to personal data is restricted to employees and trusted service providers who need it to perform their duties. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Regular Security Audits. We conduct regular security reviews and updates to our systems to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). For internal accounts with access to applicant or customer data, we require two-factor authentication for added security.
04 Your Rights and Choices
You have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- Access and Correction. You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, and request corrections if any information is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Data Deletion. You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal obligations and exceptions (for example, FMCSA-mandated driver-qualification recordkeeping).
- Opt-Out. You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or contacting us directly at info@skdglobalinc.com.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@skdglobalinc.com or call (815) 676-7777. We will verify your identity before completing requests.
